My XC Touring

After a week full of rain around Jabodetabek, pessimistic feelings for cycling activities began to emerge. Around last Friday, I called Om Kunto (Labu) and Om Wawan (Pamulang) for a cycling activity started from MPO Cafe (JPG)-BSD-Pamulang-Parung-Sawangan-Labu-Pondok Cabe-JPG. Om Kunto can not joint us from Mpo Café of JPG, so he will join later in Sawangan.

The Loop

Yesterday, it was a very bright and we were very lucky because there was no rain last night in the Tangerang area. Around seven in the morning I met with the Om Wawan in Mpok Café of JPG, and soon we began our journey towards the BSD and then go to Jalan Ciater Pamulang.

Township roads with small variations in the concrete road we traveled around … minutes and we went into the villages near Pine Hill housing BSD. From here we continued southward until we crossed Highway Pamulang Puspitek along approximately 1.3 km before entering back into the township road that lies between the region and Housing Rawa Kalong Dago Hill.

Rawakalong Dirt Track

Approximately about 3.5 km past the dirt road was dry enough; we arrived at the waste disposal area located on a river. We follow the usual path traveled by the scavengers, until finally we arrived at Jalan Raya Pondok Lightning. We passed through asphalt road before entering back into the township road that took us to a small lake called the Masyono Situ. From here we cut the road through rice fields and fish ponds until we finally arrived back at Pondok Petir asphalt road.

It was getting hot and for 15 minutes we push the bike as tight as possible until we finally arrived at the junction of Jalan Raya Parung. Our bike steered north blood circumstances, until finally we arrived at Sawangan Golf. Here we rested for a while to wait for the Mas Kunto, who intended to join our group.

Fifteen minutes for a drink and rest …wait for Kunto in front of a shop. At last, after fifteen minute…Mas Kunto finally arrived and we moved on as soon as possible. Off roadway Muchtar Sawangan, we went back to the township road in the outskirts of Lake Golf Sawangan. Finally we arrived at Warung of Mpo Keli. It looks the desire to eat appeared. Finally we decided to eat ‘Nasi Uduk’ before we continued.

We stopped briefly to take some photos at a small bridge on the outskirts of Lake. It was getting hot and we decided to not linger long on the edge of the Lake. We rode again until we passed a cluster in the British housing complex of Telaga Golf. After that we arrived at Abdul Wahab Sawangan road and we rushed to find a shady kampong road, because the weather was getting hotter.

Once out of the ghetto we finally arrived at the Pondok Cabe Golf are. Here we parted with Mas Kunto and returned the bike into a dirt road which is a Gas Pipe Line. We also explore Gas Pipe Line, and finally arrived at the back of the University of Pamulang, before I and Om Wawan separated. After some 15 km ride on the Gas Pipe Line track (to the direction of Tangerang), I finally arrived back at the MPO Cafe. It was midday before I started my lunch at Mpok Cafe of JPG.
